FAQ’s

Is there a specific size opening that a Motorized Power Screen will accommodate?

To suit different width and height requirements, we offer three housing canister sizes determined by the width, height and screen mesh/fabric to be used. The three sizes that we offer are: Series 3, Series 4 and Series 5.

Series 3:

A Series 3 housing canister (3-5/16”h x 3-1/4”d) can accommodate up to 12’ in width and 8’ in height.

Series 4:

A Series 4 housing canister (4-1/8”h x 4-3/8”d) can accommodate up to 18’ in width and 10’ in height.

Series 5:

A Series 5 housing canister (5-1/2”h x 5-3/4”d) can accommodate up to 25’ in width and 20’ in height.

Can I get a Manual Screen instead of a Motorized Screen?

Yes.

What fabric options are available?

We offer Sunbrella Fabric. Color pigments are added during the production of Sunbrella fiber, which results in Sunbrella yarn and fabric with color that won’t fade or wash away, unlike in regular fabrics where dyes are only added to the surface.

With the 200+ colors and patterns that we offer, you’re sure to find something to perfectly match your home’s color palette.

Will a Motorized Power Screen keep pets or kids in or out?

Many Motorized Power Screens are installed with the purpose of keeping pets or animals inside or outside. With enough force, it is possible for a child or pet to push through the screen, but the zipper system (vertical tracks/rails) completely seals the left and right while the weight of the hem bar makes it almost impossible for a pet to get out.

What mesh options are available?

We offer Motorized Power Screens with a variety of color, styles, and mesh selections. Depending on your vision for the screen, it can dim the sunlight without obstructing your view, or it can provide complete blackout.

Where can I install a Motorized Power Screen?

Motorized Power Screens are applicable to indoor and outdoor use and can convert your windows, patios, doors, and/or garage doors into a private, shaded, comfortable, and pest-free environment.

Motorized Power Screens are the ideal solution for any opening that can add living space to your home, as well as provide privacy, weather protection, shade, and protection from unwanted critters. Motorized Power Screens reduce the negative effects of UV rays from the sun without obstructing your view.

They can also protect your furniture and wood floors from Southern California’s strong UV rays.

What remote control options are available?

We offer a one-channel wireless remote control to control one Motorized Power Screen or a multi-channel wireless remote control to control up to five separate Motorized Power Screens independently. These can be hand-held or a wall switch. You can also request a hard wired wireless wall switch.
